Tuesday: A frontal boundary will move through the region during Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Ahead of this front, sub-freezing air will remain locked in across Western Mass during the morning before milder air streams in during the afternoon.
Light snow will overspread Western Mass by late Tuesday morning and will continue into early Tuesday afternoon. The snow will change to rain across much of Western Mass by 1 to 2 PM Tuesday afternoon. The rain will then continue throughout the rest of Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening.
Rain will end everywhere by midnight Tuesday night.
Snow accumulations late Tuesday morning will be a dusting across much of the area.
High temperatures Tuesday afternoon will be near 40 degrees. Low temperatures Tuesday night will be between 30 and 35 degrees.
Wednesday Through Sunday: Quiet weather is expected from the middle and end of this week right through next weekend.
Wednesday: Sunny. High temperatures near 40 degrees.
Thursday: Sunny and colder with highs near 30 degrees.
Friday: Sunny with highs between 30 and 35 degrees.
Saturday: Sunny with high temperatures between 40 and 45 degrees.
Sunday: Partly sunny with highs near 45 degrees.
