The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles [RMV] announced today that vehicle registrations have been extended for two months.
Any vehicle registration that expired in March has been extended until May 31.
Any vehicle registration that expired in April has been extended until June 30.
The RMV had previously announced extensions for the expiration of drivers licenses and inspection stickers when Governor Charlie Baker issued a state of emergency declaration on March 15.
RMV services. including registration renewals, will still be available online during this time at Mass.Gov/RMV.
The RMV currently has a no walk-in policy in place and a limited number of service centers open.
Anyone who wishes to do business in-person at the RMV must make an appointment on its website.
