35-Year Veteran Retires From Springfield Police Department

SPRINGFIELD – After 35-years as part of the Springfield Police Department, Lt. Arthur D’Ambrosia is retiring.

D’Ambrosia became a cadet in 1985 and a Springfield Police Officer in 1987. He was a motorcycle officer in the traffic unit until 2014 when he was promoted to Sergeant.

He was promoted to Lieutenant last year.
